Born on July 30 1986 in Edison New Jersey, Tom Dwan attended the Boston University as an English Major for one year before giving it up in favor of poker. The year of 2008 has been a great example for that so far. He got to 2nd place in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship playing Pot Limit Omaha and cashing over $90,000. Tom Dwan also reached 2nd place in the World Poker Tournament Borgata Winter Open, with a payday of $226,100 after loosing to James Michaels Sowers. Playing at the Five Star World Poker Classic, Tom Dwan got to 9th place with a pot of $184,670. Two impressive 8th places in the World Series Of Poker added to Tom Dwan some great cashes. He received $45,110 to his pocket playing $5000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball, and $54,144 playing $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event.
