Not to be confused with poker legend Johnny Chan, Terrence Chan chooses to enter tournaments with the alias “Not Johnny”. The 27-year-old announced himself on the global poker circuit at the 38th World Series of Poker No Limit Hold’em ShortHanded Finals in June 2007, where he took 2nd place and won $287,345 after a gripping final. He also secured 8th place in the No Limit Hold’em Championship event at the WSOP event that year.

Terrence Chan’s total tally for the year 2007, including his World Series of Poker triumphs was $305,711, which is by far his highest in any year.
