Ted Forrest

Ted Forrest is known as one of the most successful poker players in the world. Born in 1964 in Syracuse NY, Ted Forrest currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. After playing poker early in his twenties, Ted Forrest began his professional poker role in Vegas with $100. Almost loosing it all, he had a good poker game that same day raising the profits to $166, and continued to do so ever since. Ted Forrest testifies of his ability to study and read his opponents, and relates it to the days he worked at the box as a poker dealer. Watching the players and their reactions along the game benefited his psychological skills during his later games.
Ted Forrest is a true poker player, and even though he participates in many major big events, he loves playing the buy-in tournaments that have lots of entries, because the cash pots are bigger. With five World Series of Poker’s Gold Bracelets in his winning resume, along with six other first places in other tournaments Ted Forrest currently is ranked 30th POY in the world.

Ted Forrest repeated his skill at the 2004 WSOP with two more bracelets, winning the final tables both in Seven-Card Stud collecting $111,440 and No-Limit Hold’Em for a prize of $300,300. The last World Series of Poker in June 2008 earned him yet two more notable top places.
