Susie Isaacs is a professional poker player, born in Nashville, Tennessee and got her start in poker at the age of 4. Of course, at that time her role in the game was a lookout while her older brothers played cards all day long. In her teenager years, she used to spend whole days playing cards with her f riends and training her abilities to read the opponents and feel the cards. With years, her interest in poker grew stronger and she found herself playing and winnin quite often. Of course, she needed somewhere to start, so her first bankroll was funded by selling her comic book collection.
To continue playing poker more seriously, in 1986 she moved to Las Vegas and she quickly became a good student of the game. Only a few years later, she was already making history – in 1996 she won 1st place in the World Series of Poker Ladies championship, earning $42,000 and the next year, in the WSOP Ladies championship in 1997, she again reached the 1st place, which brought her $38,000 and she was the first one to have ever won that event twice and especially in the same year.
However, she is not just a poker player – she is also a caring parent of her son and grandchildren, a writer and a great cook. She loves hoing shopping, watching movies, dancing or simply having a nice quiet evening at home. Devoting her whole life to poker, she now has the knowledge and experience to help other achieve the success she has.
In the 2006 Wolrd Series of Poker main event she reached a place in the top five percent out of a record breaking field of 8,773 players, earning more than $30,000. And after that she still kept on participating in different major events and striking the top places, so as of 2008, her total live tournament earnings exceed $360,000.
