Stuart Fox, a professional poker player, who resides in Birmingham, England, was born in 1979. Initially, he worked as a security officer but after playing online poker for about four months, he made enough money to quit his job and decided to play poker full time. Stuart Fox started playing $2/$4 No-Limit cash games and later, he moved on to high stake games such as $20/$40 No-Limit cash games, six-handed or nine-handed depending on his mood. At the table and in poker circle, he is known by his nickname “Foxy”. Stuart Fox is greatly inspired by professional poker players like Tony Bloom, Dave Colclough, and Ram Vaswani.

In 2004, Stuart Fox began his poker career on a winning note with runner-up finish in the Pot-Limit Hold'em & Omaha event at the Midlands Masters, which earned him $7,780. In the same tournament, he also played in the No-Limit Hold'em event, where he secured third place and bagged $57,178 in prize money. In the following month, Stuart Fox won the No-Limit Hold'em event at the Christmas Cracker and walked away with $20,247.

After a successful season in 2004, Stuart Fox carried on this good form to the next season in 2005. He finished sixth at the Grosvenor Grand Challenge in the No-Limit Hold'em event and took home $4,912 in prize money. In June 2005, Stuart Fox made his maiden appearance at the 36th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) and took part in three events, which included Event #19 – Pot-Limit Omaha, Event #24 – No-Limit Hold'em, and Event #25 – Pot-Limit Hold'em, to make a total of $18,760 in cash. After a couple of months, he finished 2005 on a winning note with a third-place finish at the Christmas Cracker in the Main Event – No-Limit Hold'em that earned him $15,747 in prize money.

At the 37th Annual World Series of Poker 2006, Stuart Fox took part in Event #32 – Pot-Limit Hold'em and finished third and bagged prize money worth $142,128. He carried on this momentum in Event #42 – No-Limit Hold'em at the same tournament, where he won the runner-up and added $79,061 to his bank payroll. Stuart Fox continued his successful run in the next edition of the Annual World Series of Poker by finishing second in Event #22 No-Limit Hold'em and made a whopping $295,245 in prize money.

At the 39th World Series of Poker 2008, he participated in Event #44 - No Limit-Hold'em and made a handsome $9,720 cash prize. In 2008, Stuart Fox tried his hand at the Bellagio Cup IV/World Poker Tour (WPT) Season 7. He took part in two events that include Event #3 – No-Limit Hold'em and Event #8 - WPT No-Limit Hold'em Championship and pocketed 36,080.

As of 2008, Stuart Fox has 23 cash finishes and has made $802,473 in tournament winnings.
