Luca Pagano, an Italian born poker player, started playing full time poker from the year 2004. Currently, he lives in Preganziol, Italy and is still a bachelor. He was a computer programmer who began to play poker online and is still a member of team PokerStars, a group of players sponsored by PokerStars. As his interest in poker increased, he started investing in poker books to improve his gaming skills. After earning seven figures through online tournaments, he made a transition to live tournaments at the free money tables, where he found himself beating his opponents with ease. He has made an impressive record by making the highest amount of cash, particularly in European Poker Tours (EPT).

With an analytical mind and brilliance in numbers, Luca Pagano ranked eighth at the Torneo de Poker No-Limit Hold’em in May 2002. His first landmark victory came in the year 2004, when he placed third at the Pokerstars Season 1/EPT in Event #5 – No-Limit Hold’em, Barcelona Open, and made $26,212. His highest earnings of $26,645 in 2006 were from his win in the Irish Winter Tour/EPT No-Limit Hold’em Irish Masters tournament. In 2007, Luca Pagano made another $13,381 from Season 4 of the EPT Dublin No-Limit Hold’em. He participated in the Monte Carlo No-Limit Hold’em EPT Grand Final, finished sixth, and walked away with a total of $533,253. In April 2008, Luca Pagano became a tournament organizer of the EPT event in San Remo, Italy and hosted this event along with his father Claudio Pagano.
