Leif Force was born in 1983 and is a professional poker player from Tallahassee, Florida. He has been keen on card games since the age of four, when he used to play poker instead of taking his math lessons. Leif Force used to play Ultimate Frisbee for the Florida State University, prior to completely devoting his time to poker games.
In the beginning Leif Force started playing at Bodog.com’s online poker tournaments under the nickname of “Jungle Boy”. In time Leif Force became more confident in himself and started entering live tournaments as well. His first participation was in the $ 1,000 No Limit Hold'em -Bellagio Weekly Tournaments on Jun 2006, where he placed 30th and won $ 5,260. Two months later, on August 10th, Leif Force entered the 37th Annual World Series of Poker and made a name of himself in the poker world. He managed to finish only at 11th place, but took the amazing sum of $1,154,527. Throughout the years Leif Force went on to participate in several other tournaments such as the Deep Stack Extravaganza and IP Poker Classic, but could not repeat that success. At least until January 16th when he entered the Grand Casino Tunica Poker Tournament - WSOP Circuit - Event Circuit Pot Limit Omaha and made his first 1st place win. Four months later Leif Force made a second hit in 1st place when he won the Deep Stack Extravaganza - Event #3 - No Limit Hold'em. His latest entry was on June 19th at The Grand Poker Series - Event #14 - Pot Limit Omaha, where he cashed in $2,753 in 3rd place.
Altogether Leif Force has earned a total of $1,334,079 in twelve cashes and two first place finishes. He is ranked at position number 473 in the ProRank1 chart and number 291 in the ProRank2 chart.
