Jeffrey Lisandro, a professional poker player, was born in Perth, Australia and he currently resides in Salerno, Italy though he owns a residence in Santa Barbara, California too.

His association with poker began at the age of five, when his mother taught him to play the game. Jeffrey Lisandro made most of his money by investing in real estate, but now utilizes most of his time to play poker professionally. Before playing in tournaments, he mainly played high-limit cash games and competed against some of the world’s top players for the highest limits.

Jeffrey Lisandro made his first final-table appearance at the 28th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP), where he ended his game at the seventh place. He was given $12,750 for his final-table finish in the Pot-Limit Hold’em event.

His next major tournament was the Crown Summer Week, where he finished first in the Pot-Limit Omaha event on January 7, 2000 and took away $75,934. On September 29, 2002, Jeffrey Lisandro emerged victorious at the Austrian Classics tournament in the No-Limit Hold’em event and won $36,802.
Jeffrey Lisandro came first in the race at the 2003 Five Diamond tournament/World Poker Tour (WPT) Season 2 and walked away with $122,217 in the Pot-Limit Hold’em event.

In 2004, Jeffrey Lisandro had three final-table finishes at the World Series of Poker, out of which he was the second runner up in two events. On April 29, 2004, he took away $56,940 for his third-place finish in the WSOP Pot-Limit Omaha event and after about two weeks he was the proud recipient of $74,440 cash in the Limit Seven Card Stud event. Later that year, he also finished first at the Heads-Up Limit Hold’em Tournament against Howard Lederer and took home close to $200,000 in the $25,000 limit event.

On May 11, 2005, Jeffrey Lisandro went on to win the No-Limit Hold’em event at the Harrah's Lake Tahoe Poker Tournament and cashed over half a million dollars for his victory. He rates this as one of his greatest victories because he defeated Phil Ivey, one of the best poker players in the world, in the final heads-up confrontation.

In 2006, at the 37th Annual World Series of Poker, Jeffrey Lisandro earned a whopping $659,730 for his seventeenth-place finish in the No-Limit Hold’em Championship WSOP Final. This, by far, is the largest cash in for Jeffrey Lisandro at any event. Following this finish, he reached the final table in the European Poker Tour No-Limit Hold’em event at the Barcelona Open on September 16, 2006 and pocketed $150,983.

The 38th Annual World Series of Poker saw him winning big cash in two events. On June 8, 2007 Jeffrey Lisandro was the runner-up in the WSOP Pot-Limit Hold’em World Championship that earned him a handsome amount of $294,620. After ten days, he won his first gold bracelet at the WSOP when he finished first in the WSOP Seven Card Stud event and bagged $118,426 in cash.

At the next season of the World Series of Poker in the No-Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball Draw event, Jeffrey Lisandro finished second and became richer by $347,004 for his final-table finish.
