Jared Davis is a poker player from Philadelphia, PA, United States, who was born in 1978. When he was just a teenager, he got interested in poker but never played seriously. With years he developed his skills from home games with friends. However, he never participated in any major tournaments. Jared Davis biggest achievement so far is his 2nd place finish in the 38th World Series of Poker 2007, earning him the prize of $149,263.

It was in May 2004 when he entered a competition for the first time – the World Poker Challenge 2004-WPT season 2, where he finished 10th and earned the prize of $1,266. That was one of the things that encouraged him to go on. Although he was facing some difficult times in his personal life, he never gave up his hopes and dreams and so he kept on playing. It took him two years after that to manage to finish first, but it happened! It was at the No Limit Hold’em Tournament in 2006 in which he earned $23,330.
