Dave Stucke is a 33 years old professional poker player, born in Erie, Pennsylvania and living in Henderson, Nevada. After his graduation from the Carnegie Mellon University, he received an advanced degree from The Iowa State University and is working as a physics professor. He has achieved only two cashes with final winnings, since he plays poker, but one of them got him a bracelet. His passion for poker was born when he was a kid, while playing cards with his friends just for fun. Later he started participating in Internet tournaments. Thanks to his brilliant performance at the $2/5 limit games in Rio, he managed to earn enough money to cash and play in the World Series of Poker Tournament.
On June 16, 2007 Dave Stucke won his first bracelet at the 38th Annual World Series of Poker – Event 27 with a total prize of $603,069. In this tournament about 2,135 players were struggling to win the World Series of Poker event. His favorite game is the No Limit Hold’em where he can watch and play with other great poker players.
On November 9, 2008 Dave Stucke took part in the 39th World Series of Poker 2008 Event#54, where he reached the 510th place, earning the prize of $25,090.
