Brad Kondracki is a professional poker player born on June 29, 1981 in Kingston Pennsylvania. Brad Kondracki was a Law student at the University of Pennsylvania and parallel to that has been playing poker, since 2003, because it was a way for him to finance his education. He played poker only online at the time. Brad Kondracki took a year off before he got at the University and played poker online 50 hours per week.
Brad Kondracki made his first appearance in a tournament on March 9th, 2005 in Bellagio Weekly Tournaments, Las Vegas - $500 No Limit Hold’em. He finished in 2nd place and won $13.386. But his most remarkable success came on July 7th, 2005, at his first participation ever in the World Series of Poker. Brad Kondracki qualified for that event by winning a $160 satellite tournament on Pokerstars.com. In the 36th WSOP, Las Vegas $10.000 No Limit Hold’em – World Championship Event he finished 8th and went home with a check for $1.150.000. At the beginning of the game Brad Kondracki entered with a dangerous short stack but on the very first game he had the chance to steal the blinds and antes by pushing all-in. In this way Brad Kondracki secured himself the sum of $1.150.000. After the win Brad Kondracki said that he would return to the University to continue his Law education. His last participation in a tournament was on November 16th, 2006, in the World Poker Finals – No Limit Hold’em Championship Event 15. He finished 51st and became richer by $14.309. His total tournaments winnings exceed $1.177.695.
