Friday Freaky Freeroll

by James 13. November 2009 11:53

It seems today is Friday the 13th. This might account for my car not starting this morning, spraining my ankle, and been stuck in a meeting for around 4 hours earlier and not being able to get out.

After a bit of research earlier I found the following things out about this Friday the 13th Legend.

Some the the unlucky thing that happened this fateful day (Thanks to Wikipedia)

§  Hurricane Charley made landfall in south Florida on Friday, August 13, 2004.

§  The “Friday the 13th Storm” struck BuffaloNew York on Friday, October 13, 2006.

§  The asteroid 2004 MN4 will make its close encounter on Friday, April 13, 2029.[22]

§  Andes Plane Crash of 1972

So In fact:  You should stay home. You should play the freeroll: Friday the 13th is both lucky and unlucky.

According to popular superstition, this is an unlucky thing, and someone’s even had this to say about the whole idea: “Friday 13th is unlucky for some.

The risk of hospital admission as a result of a transport accident may be increased by as much as 52 percent. S

Staying at home is recommended.

Well, we definitely agree with the last part, so stay close to your favourite poker family and friends at PokerTime this coming Friday for a Freaky Friday the 13th Freeroll. Stay indoors and be safe for this one.
