So PokerTime friends and fans; we’ve officially got ‘Anonymous’ Tables now on our poker room. We are one of the first Microgaming operators to have these fantastic tables, and they really are a great way to spend your poker time.
The concept works as follows: These tables allow a player to remain as the name suggests: Anonymous. You can see your alias and your avatar during the game. This lands up making the game quite a bit harder for players who use tracking software but definitely adds quite a bit of a mystery element to the game.
Players can’t actually use PokerTracker or Holdem Manager with these Anonymous tables.
So here’s a little bit of information regarding these Anonymous tables: (in the form of Q&A)
Q: Why would I play anonymous tables?
A: You now have the ability to remain anonymous and give yourself a better chance at winning
Q: How do I know if a table is an anonymous table?
A: Anonymous Tables will have an icon next to the table name identifying it as an anonymous table.
Q: If the table is anonymous how will I know where I am sitting?
A: Your Alias and Avatar will be visible only to you while other players will have Anonymous Aliases and Avatars
Q: If a player previously has made notes or rated me will this show on the Anonymous table?
A: No, all notes and ratings made on players will not be available on the Anonymous table.
Q: Can poker tracking software track my real alias to the Anonymous Table?
A: No, Poker Tracking Software will not associate your temporary alias allocated on the Anonymous Table.
Q: Will PokerTime guys still see the players Real Alias?
A: Yes, The awesome poker Network Monitoring teams will still have access to the players real information
