Our blog entry earlier on this January made light of information stating that Nicholas Cage was chosen to play the eccentric poker champion Amarillo Slim in a film that was scheduled for release in 2009.
This clearly did not happen as we are now a month into 2010 and none the wiser. Nicholas Cage has now sold his Las Vegas mansion for WAY under what he bought it for and is in the unlucky position of owing $13 million in unpaid taxes- OUCH.
Sounds like Mr Cage could have really benefitted from the financial perks of making the Amarillo Slim film.
