What seemed to initially start as a poker blog seems to have turned into a mix between poker posts, comparisons between Tiger Woods, and everything and anything to do with Lady Gaga., so whilst on the topic, let’s talk about our favourite 24 year old Poker Face entertainer!

This week, the latest piece of scandal goes to this degree. Former Beatles star John Lennon son Sean tweeted a photo of a fishnet clad Lady Gaga seating and playing the absolutely beautiful white piano that belonged to his dad John. This is where it got quite interesting, and maybe a little ridiculous.

Forty years since the band dissipated and went their own separate ways, they banded together and there has been somewhat of a huge public outcry for allowing the scantily dressed superstar to touch their beloved hero’s white grand piano

In response to the barrage of criticism that he received, he removed the snap of Gaga, whilst a legion of Beatles fans raged that Gaga is only half the man that Lennon was. Sean responded on his Twitter account with a ‘Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental..." When the criticism continued, he added: "come on, lighten up...life's too short, there're enough real problems in the world. Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be."

But to add to the Sean’s side of the story, there is a lot more to Gaga than skimpy costumes and for some reason wearing fishnet stockings whilst at a friend’s home playing the piano. Gaga was a child prodigy of the piano. She has been playing since age four and actually landed up writing her first piano ballad.

Imagine what the poker world would have done if she had bought T.J Cloutier’s poker bracelet a couple of months ago from the eBay post and used it as a piece of jewellery in one of her shows.

Sorry!  Sacrilege!  I heard about this and really did not want to see it!  I like Lady Gaga and her various artistic creations but  this is one step too far - Lennon's White Piano is almost sacred!

However I can understand Sean's viewpoint and he is quite right - it is there to be played and why not by Lady Gaga as she seems fully qualified skillwise to have the honour of playing this precious instrument.

Hope she felt rightly privileged! (I am not a bit jealous...Wink lol)

I disagree Helen. A piano is made for playing.
