Ah, tournament poker, described as hours of boredom and minutes of terror. During the duller moments a lot of well known and unknown players like to prevent their own brains escaping said boredom via the nearest orifice by making prop bets.
These can vary from the simple such as the board will contain three red cards to the sublime such as the following from Howard Lederer & Andy Bloch. Howard challenged Andy to eat 25 gourmet cupcakes in 90mins while playing the $5000 shootout event at the WSOP. Fairly simple, play a couple of hands then ram a cake into your mouth ? Don't forget this is Vegas where everything is supersized, Andy could only manage 6 before admitting defeat. Bless.
