Looks like we’ll be seeing even more of Brad Pitt on our screens soon. And this time it’s another ‘period piece’. The Weinstein Company has the rights to make the film version of Cogan’s Trade, an adaptation of the George V. Higgins novel.
Brad Pitt will play the lead role of Jackie Cogan, who is a "professional enforcer who investigates a heist that takes place during a high stakes poker game held under the protection of the mob."
Adding to excitement is the rest of the cast, some of whom include Pitt’s Assassination of Jesse James costars Casey Affleck and Sam Rockwell.
The film should be wrapped up for an early 2012 release.
