Michael ‘The Grinder’ Mizrachi last night took home his first WSOP bracelet and over $1.5 million and the Chip Reese Trophy after winnings the 2010 Poker Players Championship last night. He beat out Russian businessman and banked Vladimir Schemelev who came in second and David Oppenheim who came third. In what seemed like a crazy state of play, Mizrachi, knocked out his brother out of the competition at the final table; however the duo had reason to celebrate anyhow.
Here are the final results from this tournament.
1. Michael Mizrachi, $1,559,046
2. Vladimir Schmelev, $963,375
3. David Oppenheim, $603,348
4. John Juanda, $436,865
5. Robert Mizrachi, $341,429
6. David Baker, $272,275
7. Daniel Alaei, $221,105
8. Mikael Thuritz, $182,463
Incidentally; the greatest WSOP drama to happen
