Phil Ivey has taken the position of the highest earning poker player of all time after finishing as runner-up in the $100,000 buy-in event at the Aussie Millions tournament series. This means that Ivey has won more money in poker tournaments than any other player in history. Ivey took over the position from Canadian pro, Daniel Negreanu.
Ivey has won more than $12 million in tournament action but ironically he’s made more money from playing cash games.
